Outreach
Member of Future Advancers of Science and Technology (FAST), a program for K-12 students toward "achieving their goals of answering open questions in science and engineering clever solutions to problems in their society".
Responsibility: mentor two high-school students for designing and executing original scientific research in engineering; meet biweekly during the 2022-2023 academic year; students present their work at an annual symposium at Stanford University, Stanford, CA.
Member of Afrisnet, a program dedicated to “advancing scholarship in Africa by promoting development, access, and application of research”.
Responsibility: mentor three undergraduate student from Nigeria in graduate school application; share my perspective of graduate school life; help them select schools, draft statements, and communicate with prospective professors.
